This policy explains what information the mobile game Cannon Valley ("the Game") collects, why, and what choices you have. Cannon Valley is published by BigInt ("we", "us").
| Data | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous user identifier (randomly generated at first launch; not linked to your identity) | To save and restore your game profile | Google Firebase Authentication |
| Game profile: a player name you choose, best score, recent scores, games played, best wave, total kills, energy state, and any purchased pass expiry | To back up and sync your progress | Google Cloud Firestore |
| Advertising ID and coarse device/technical data (device model, OS version, language, approximate region derived from IP) | To display ads, limit repeated ads, and measure ad performance | Google AdMob |
| Push notification token | To send you reminders and news about the game, if you allow notifications | Google Firebase Cloud Messaging |
| Purchase records (which in-app product was bought, and its status) | To deliver purchases and restore them on a new device | Google Play Billing |
| Settings such as sound volume and gameplay preferences | To remember your settings | Stored locally on your device only |
The player name is one you type in yourself. Please do not enter your real full name or any other personal detail you would not want stored — a nickname is all the Game needs.
Cannon Valley shows banner ads, occasional full-screen ads between runs, and optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game bonuses such as energy. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to personalise ads. You can reset or limit that identifier at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on Android, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS).
AdMob's practices are described in Google's Advertising Privacy Policy.
If you allow notifications, the Game may remind you when your energy has refilled or tell you about new content. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and the Game will keep working normally.
Cannon Valley is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf. Profile records are kept for as long as the profile remains in use; delete-requests are honoured as described below.
Data in transit is protected with industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Profiles are stored in Google Cloud Firestore under access rules that allow each account to read and write only its own record.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
